The Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Government of Goa on August 20, 2026, notified the revised DPIIT Definition of “Startup” under the Goa Startup Policy, 2025.
The Government has partially modified the Goa Startup Policy, 2025, to adopt the revised definition of “Startup” notified by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India, vide Gazette Notification No. G.S.R. 108(E) dated February 4, 2026. The revised DPIIT definition will now apply for the implementation of the Goa Startup Policy, 2025.
